Major Update 5 “Bootcamp” Is Here – New Tutorial Mode, New Props, the P-40 and More!

Status Update About the Digital Rewards
The «Wings of Valor» DLC also received a new batch of content:
- The Curtiss P-40 "Kittyhawk"
- A new "Malta" skin for the Spitfire
- Decorative posters
We will continue to plan and work on the other items for the Wings of Valor and to fulfill the digital rewards one after another. The following digital rewards are not finished yet:
- Rest of Wings of Valor DLC (De Havilland Vampire, 2 more airplanes, 2 legendary pilots, digital artbook)
- In-game monument with the names of the founders
- Design a decal
- You or a relative become an NPC in the game
We hope you can understand that we have to work through the rewards gradually while working on the main game itself. For some of these rewards, we need to be further along in the development of the Early Access version. For some, we need the underlying systems (e.g. decal customization of planes, NPC stats) to be ready and final first. Thank you for your patience and for your support!
Still Need Your Steam Key?
To make sure that every backer gets their rewards, we want to remind everyone how you can get your Steam key for GROUND OF ACES, in case you haven't received it yet:
You can log in on BackerKit and check the Ground of Aces survey yourself. It's possible you may still need to complete one question. After that you can use the "Get Your Digital Download" button and get to the page where you find your digital rewards, including the Steam key.
Or you can write a comment below this post. We will check for you and resend the mail manually for you.
We are aware that for some people the BackerKit notification mail didn't arrive even though we activated the reward notification for everyone. To those backers, we apologize for the inconvenience. But don't worry, BackerKit assigned all the Steam keys and you can still get your key.

MAPS & LIVERIES – Major Update 4 Out Now + Wings of Valor News

Update the game on Steam and explore the new features! Unlock aircraft liveries (skins), build your own maps from scratch with the new map editor, play with the new RAF Debden map and expand your defenses with the Oerlikon AA gun and new lookout post.
The start of the Wings of Valor DLC – Add the Mosquito to the game!
Alongside the Major Update, we also started up the first foundation for the Wings of Valor DLC.
The DLC in its current state will add the iconic De Havilland Mosquito to the game.
This DLC is a promise we made during our Kickstarter campaign, and today marks the start of building it up piece by piece. Wings of Valor exists thanks to the incredible support of our backers and early supporters, who made it possible for us to lay the foundation for additional content beyond the base game.
Wings of Valor is now available on Steam in its current state for free for a limited time, as it currently only includes one aircraft and Ground of Aces itself is still in Early Access. As the DLC grows through future updates and receives more content, it will transition from free to paid at a later point. Releasing the DLC this way allows us to add the Mosquito already and begin fulfilling our Kickstarter promise step by step.
Every backer who has the DLC as a reward is still receiving a Steam key for the DLC via BackerKit. If you have the DLC as part of your rewards, you should receive a notification mail about that today.
Distributing the Steam keys to our backers ensures that even people can add the DLC to their library at any point, be it now or after the DLC transitions from free to paid.
Planned content for Wings of Valor includes:
Curtiss P-40 “Kittyhawk”
De Havilland Vampire
Another aircraft voted by the community (tba)
An additional aircraft selected by the development team (tba)
Digital artbook
Decorative posters
Two legendary pilot NPCs voted by the community

Note on Churchill Radio Speeches: During development, we learned that recordings of Winston Churchill’s speeches are not in the public domain and require a license for use in commercial projects. As a result, the inclusion of Churchill's radio speeches will no longer be included in Wings of Valor as originally announced. We appreciate your understanding.
Next Steps
We will monitor the feedback and work on improvements and possible hotfixes next and then continue with our roadmap towards the 1.0 release.

FIRST AID – Major Update 2 out now! Female Ground Crew, Health System and Hospitals

Our second major update has landed! Experience a livelier world with female ground crew, a full health system for NPCs with injury, aid and recovery behaviors, and new props that let you build hospitals on your base.

Flashback: What We Added Since Launch
In case you missed it: Since the Early Access launch and before the new Major Update, we’ve released several Hot Fix Updates and Minor Content Updates, and it’s been exciting to see the game grow step by step, like with these additions from the Minor Content Updates:

We plan for more updates in September & October, with the next major update to be released before the end of the year.

We are finished with the shipment of the physical rewards. The T-shirts, baseball caps, and posters (signed and without signatures) should have arrived by now. If something is unclear, don't hesitate to write to us.
