Just two days left, and then Ground of Aces is officially out in Early Access! Get here the most important infos before the release.
The launch will happen on the 10th of July at around 9am PT / 6pm CEST
PLAY THE GAME: That's the easiest one: Get the game on Steam and play the Early Access version! :)
REVIEW IT ON STEAM: You can help us make a good impression on Steam by reviewing the game and telling others what you like about it. 🧡 You supported the project right at the start and you are the experts, so this is your chance to tell the world. Getting a good number of reviews on the first weekend shows the Steam algorithm that our game is worth presenting to more people, which in turn can make the game a bigger success with a bigger future. So you can help us here the most!
HOW YOU WILL GET YOUR DIGITAL REWARDS
You will get the digital rewards via Backerkit. We will activate a notification mail that gets sent out by Backerkit on Thursday. In that mail, you will find the link to the page where you can access your digital downloads and codes.
On Thursday, depending on your backer level, you will get:
T-shirts and caps are on the way! Our team member Krish focused on getting the packages ready with the caps and shirts and shipped out most of them. Some of you may have already received a package. Don't hesitate to share a picture of you in the merch with us, we'd love to see it!
The posters have arrived here in the office. Our team members signed one batch of posters for the reward level "Commander - Honored (Get signed poster)". We will be sending out them next, plus the normal posters that got bought via Backerkit.
Last week, we celebrated the BBQ party for the "Friend - Celebrate at the Studio" backers. Thank you to everyone who joined us at our hangar in Zurich!
We are in contact with our "Choose your Plane" backer and their requested plane is in the works for the next content update. You can get a preview here:
STATUS OF THE OTHER REWARDS
Not all the digital and physical rewards are finished and ready yet. We hope you can understand that as a small team, we have to gradually work through them, and first we had to focus on the main game feature set which affects the biggest group of people and is necessary for the Early Access release.
For some of the digital rewards, like the "Design a decal" and "You or a relative become an NPC in the game", the needed systems are not implemented in the game yet. For the decals we need the customization system, and for the NPCs we don't have all the variables yet that can make them more personalized.
We will keep you updated when we know more from the development side, and we will contact you when we can collect the needed information from you for the NPCs and Decals.

EARLY ACCESS LAUNCH DATE: 10th OF JULY
We are excited to announce that Ground of Aces will go into Early Access on the 10th of July.

Thanks to you, we are about to reach this big milestone. You supported us right from the start. You played the Alpha and the free Demo and sent us your input so that we can continue to improve the game together with you.
Soon, we will enter a new era. The game will be available for the first time to the wider public on Steam as an Early Access title. That release will be an important moment which will decide how big our game can become.
For this, you can still help us during the release week. We will inform you with a "Battle Plan" that explains how you can help the game reach more people on Steam. For example: writing a review on Steam right on the first day is very helpful.
Over 90% of the game is already translated into 17 languages! 🥳 We recently added a few new text strings and a few more will be added before the Early Access launch. If you know a non-English language, you can help by adding your own translations and make the game more accessible for everyone. The more people join, the easier it is. Every small bit is greatly appreciated! 🧡
Rewards Update
For anyone who has the normal game key as a reward: We will send out the Steam Keys on the 10th of July via Backerkit. You will get a notification from Backerkit and we will remind you with a Kickstarter update post.
We have started sending out the first packages with T-shirts, and we continue to send out more packages with merch this week. Dave, our 2D illustrator, is finishing the poster so that we can send it into print next.
We hope you can understand that we will have to continue with the organization of the rewards gradually. First, our programming team has to focus on getting the Early Access version for everyone ready. Some of the subsystems that are needed for rewards like "Become an NPC" and "Design a decal" are planned for future updates after the Early Access has launched.

PS: The WW2 history buffs among you will probably notice how the 10th of July is a great fit for our game. In 1940, on the 10th of July, the Battle of Britain started.
Release Date Reveal + Road Map Preview Next Tuesday in Our Livestream!

We will do a Twitch livestream next Tuesday in which we will reveal the RELEASE DATE of Ground of Aces. We will also discuss the possible ROAD MAP plans, and we'd love to hear your input. Our game designer Jeremy and CEO Moritz will be part it, plus the marketing trio of Nuria, Ben and Krish.
So join us on the 24th on our Twitch channel to be the first ones to know and to chat with us directly.
We will organize the packages next week and start sending out the first baseball caps and T-shirts to our backers who have that merch as one of their rewards.
We will continue with the organization of the posters as well. Our illustrator Dave is preparing the final design now so that we can send it into print next week.
We locked the addresses of the backers who have the T-shirt, baseball cap or poster in their list of rewards. If you are one of these people and you just remembered that you still need to update us about a change of your shipping address, please write to us in the comments or send us a message here on Kickstarter.

We Are Preparing the First Physical Rewards - PLEASE UPDATE YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS if needed

Has your shipping address changed since you gave us your information for the physical rewards? Do you need to update your address? If yes, please update your address via BackerKit because next week we will have to lock the addresses for the first physical rewards. Backerkit will send out a final notice mail 2 days before we lock the addresses.
If you still live in the same place since you gave us your address, you don't need to do anything.
We have ordered the T-shirts and caps and next week, we will start preparations for shipping them out. We will also continue preparing more physical rewards like the posters next.
We hope you can understand that we have to organize the physical and digital rewards gradually because we are a small team that also has to focus on getting the main game ready for Early Access, which is planned for next month: JULY. 👀 🥳
We will keep you updated about the exact release date and when more details about the other rewards are available.

To update your shipping information, click on your BackerKit survey confirmation link that was sent to your email. If you need this link to resent, please go to our survey recovery page here.
If your address is open, you can see and click 'Edit Shipping Info' to update your shipping details. To update the country or state, please contact the BackerKit support team for assistance.
ICYMI: Our demo of Ground of Aces is part of the Steam Next Fest, which is running until Monday the 16th. This is your chance to still play the demo and send us your feedback before the Early Access release in July. Right now, our programmers and designers are implementing requests we got from the community, like the wish for more task prioritization.
